SHOPIFY CHECKLIST

Before beginning a Shopify project, please provide the following information - we are happy to discuss any element in further detail if anything unclear as sometimes it can sound like a foreign language!

1. ACCOUNT SET UP INFORMATION

Company name
Account holder full name & date of birth (for banking verification)
Contact details - registered business address, telephone number, email address(es)
Bank Account details - account number, sort code and registered address (if different from company addresss)
Companies House / VAT number if applicable
Card details to put on account for Shopify monthly or annual fee (from $29 p/m) incl CVV (these can be Whatsapp-ed for security)
If moving from another platform (i.e. WooCommerce, Squarespace, Wix) please provide login details so products, customers etc can be exported and imported into Shopify
Social media handles plus login info if would like to display Instagram feed.

2. DESIGN + PAGES

Logo and / or brand guidelines (colours/fonts)
Photography/illustrations/video
Suggested navigation (this is usually a starting position, subject to change as the design and content evolves)
Content for pages - both top level content and footer pages (e.g. About, Sustainability, Delivery & Returns, Terms & Conditions, Sizing Guide etc)

3. SHIPPING

Standard shipping charge
Express
International
Individual product charges (i.e. for heavy, fragile, bulky etc)

4. EXTRAS (depending on project scope)

Gift vouchers option
Bespoke options
Personalisation options
Subscriptions
Product add-ons
3rd party plugins i.e. Instagram feed, back in stock notifications, customer profiling quizes
Email marketing - Klaviyo or Mailchimp integration - please add hello@elphick.co as an additional user.

5. SEO (if agreed as part of project scope)

Please write a site title of up to 70 characters, and site description of up to 320 characters. This should also be done for all pages. This is what will display on Google search results for example:
